ISRAELVALLEY - LA CONFERENCE D'HERZLIYA SE TIENDRA DU 6 AU 9 FEVRIER. La France sera représentée par Francis Delon, Secrétaire général de la Défense Nationale et le Dr Bruno Tertrais de la Fondation pour la Recherche Stratégique assisteront.

La Conférence d’Herzliya se tiendra cette année au Centre Interdisciplinaire d’Herzliya. Elle réunira des leaders internationaux et israéliens. Les sujets exposés et débattus toucheront les domaines sécuritaires, politiques, économiques, et environnementales.

La conférence se propose de “tracer l’avenir d’Israël et relever les défis du futur d’Israël”. Assisteront des acteurs économiques et ministres, des Généraux et Stratèges des différents Thinks Tanks occidentaux. Francis Delon, Secrétaire général de la Défense Nationale et le Dr Bruno Tertrais de la Fondation pour la Recherche Stratégique ont été invités par les organsiateurs de la Conférence.

The 11th Annual Herzliya Conference – 2011. The Eleventh Annual Herzliya Conference will be held on February 6-9, 2011,on the Campus of the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya in Israel.

Mr. Francis Delon Member of France’s Council of State and Secretary General for National Defence and Security. Previously served as President of Subsection Five of the Litigation Division of the Council of State. Earlier acted as Director of the Cabinet of the Minister of National Education, Higher Education and Research. Worked for the Council of State after having served as First Counselor and Legal Advisor to France’s Permanent Delegation to the UN. A graduate of École Nationale d’Administration (ENA).

Dr. Bruno Tertrais Senior Research Fellow at the Fondation pour la Recherche Stratégique (FRS), and a Lecturer in World Politics at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) de Paris. Previously served as Director of the Civilian Affairs Committee of NATO Assembly. Also served as Special Assistant to the Director of Strategic Affairs at the French Ministry of Defense. Was a Visiting Fellow at the RAND Corporation, Santa Monica. Holds a PhD in Political Science from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
