En pleine saison touristique et juste avant l’arrivée de BARAK OBAMA à Jérusalem la ville est encore sous le choc à la suite d’un nouvel attentat au bulldozer de “faible intensité”.

L’attentat “non conventionnel” a eu lieu ce jour : un terroriste à bord d’un bulldozer après avoir attaqué deux véhicules a blessé 11 personnes dont une très grièvement, à l’angle des rues King Georges et Keren Hayessod. Il s’agit de rues centrales de Jérusalem.

Le terroriste a été abattu. Le terroriste est Rassam Abou Tir d’Oum Touba, une localité à l’est de Jérusalem. Il était détenteur de la nationalité israélienne. Il s’agit d’un neveu du parlementaire du Hamas, Mohamed Abou Tir incarcéré en Israël.

Selon l’AFP que nous citons : “Un conducteur de bulldozer a été abattu mardi dans le centre de Jérusalem par un Israélien qui pensait qu’il allait perpétrer un attentat avec son véhicule. Il a réussi à renverser deux voitures, blessant un de ses occupants, a-t-on précisé de mêmes sources.”

JPost : "A bulldozer driver went on a rampage in central Jerusalem Tuesday afternoon in an apparent attempt to recreate the terror attack in the capital a few weeks ago. The bulldozer reportedly left a construction site near Yemin Moshe near King David Street, crashed into a city bus and hit two cars, wounding one person seriously and several more lightly. The wounded were evacuated to Sha’are Tzedek Hospital in the capital.

According to initial reports, the driver was first shot by a civilian, but continued his attack before he was shot dead by border policemen".

Haaretz (Copyrights) : "A bulldozer driver went on a rampage in downtown Jerusalem on Tuesday. Three people were wounded in the attack on Tuesday, one of them seriously, Israel Radio reported. The casualties were taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment.

The driver of the tractor struck at least two cars before being shot dead by security forces, the radio said. The attack occurred on the corner of Keren Hayesod and King David streets in dowtown Jerusalem, the radio said.

The attack occurred hours before U.S. Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama was to arrive for a short visit to the region".
