" Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul began a two-day trip to the Middle East by agreeing to donate $5 million to the Palestinian Authority in a bid to rehabilitate the former Erez industrial zone in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The donation, which was announced after a meeting between Gul and Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia in Ramallah, is intended to help revive Gaza’s shriveled economy."
